Supporting McHappy families

As we celebrate McHappy Day tomorrow, May 2nd 2012, I would like to share a story: My family has recently come across a sweet little girl named Ella.  Ella is in my daughter's Junior Kindergarten class and suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.  She must be the happiest and bubbliest kid i know, and you would never imagine that she suffers from the disease.  I had the pleasure of knowing her parents as well and they are such amazing people who have dedicated their lives to finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

My family couldn't help but find a way to help them, and it is going to be a surprise since they have no idea that we are silently raising funds for their cause.  I cannot wait for the day we present them with the cheque for the amount we have come up with.  Ella is a special child whom my daughter adores very much, and i hope that one day a cure will be found.

Together, let us raise awareness, so that little girls like Ella can live a normal life and enjoy being children.
I am participating in the McHappy Day Blogger Program by ShesConnected. A donation in my name was made to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada in exchange for my participation in this campaign. All opinions are honest and always my own*
